Riverkeeper’s Outer Harbor Vision

Other communities across New York State are strategically acquiring waterfront properties in order to “un-develop” them as a necessary means to protect their citizens, property, and enhance quality of life. The best outcome for our unique Outer Harbor will be planning and design that emphasizes investment in our most important quality of life assets, clean water and a sustainable future.  Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper

i also feel that we don’t need any housing on the outer harbor property. we need more access to the public land. if housing is allowed it will limit our access to the areas that are going to be developed.

the feeling is that we are being asked what we want and no matter what our opinion is they will still be putting housing down in the outer harbor area. what is the sense of asking for our thoughts. that is a waste of time!!!!
